Employee behavioral silence and organization-based self-esteem: A study of government departments in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan

This study explores the effect of psychopathic leadership on employee behavioural silence and how leads to work-family conflict thus, effecting organizational citizenship behaviour. Considering insights offered by plasticity theory, we have investigated whether organization based self-esteem moderates silence. Data is collected using a structured questionnaire at three different time lags with gap one month. The sample consists 400 employees government department in Pakistan, mainly Police department. At Time1 387 data received were useable Time2 only 350 responses useable. final obtained Time3 was 228 pursue this research study. results after analysis SPSS indicates that links hypothesized are significant except moderation hypothesis. findings suggests due leadership, inclined towards silence, leading inversely In addition, hypothesis not proved. We concluded our sharing several practical managerial implications offering some future interventions avenues for potential researchers.
